Salman Khan prepones Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali?

Last seen in Dabangg 3 (2019), the third instalment of his super successful cop-drama Dabangg, superstar Salman Khan will next be seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Also starring Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in important roles, the film completed a major part of its shoot before the production of all films, television shows and webseries came to a halt in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Reportedly, Khan is planning to make the most of the opportunity by editing the film from him home.

After Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman Khan was set to begin work on filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The latest update on the much-awaited project is that the superstar is keen to start its shoot earlier than initially planned in order to accommodate his dates for the next instalment of the Tiger franchise.

“Aditya Chopra wanted to take Tiger 3 on the floors from January end-early February, and Salman is equally excited to work on the spy thriller, which is planned as his biggest film till date. Since Salman’s calendar was free from August, he requested Sajid if the film can go on floors before schedule, and given their friendship, Sajid readily agreed to Salman’s request,” a source informs an entertainment portal.

The source goes on to add, “Sajid Nadiadwala might ghost direct the earlier chunks of the film, if Farhad is not able to wrap up Bachchan Pandey on time. But it is too early to comment on anything at the moment. It is all being discussed and sorted out”.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali also stars Pooja Hegde and Aayush Sharma. The film is set to hit the marquee on Eid 2021.
