“Salman Khan has trusted my talent,” says Gautam Gulati

Gautam Gulati became a household name after walking away with the grand trophy of Salman Khan’s controversial but hugely popular reality show, Bigg Boss 8. The actor thought that the win would catapult his career to new heights, but he was left disappointed when nothing of that sort happened.

Gautam did sign a three-film deal with Ekta Kapoor’s production house Balaji Motion Pictures. But when his role in the very first film of the deal was cut short, the actor decided to break the contract. “I can never forget the day when Ekta Kapoor offered me a three-film deal. However, my role in the very first film was cut. I kept calling the concerned persons but in vain. After that, I had no other option but to break the contract with Balaji,” Gautam informs a publication.

After a few years of no great work, Gautam Gulati happened to meet Salman Khan at a party. When he told Khan that he was not satisfied with the kind of films he was doing, the superstar immediately offered him a role in his forthcoming film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

“I met him at a party a few months ago. He asked me about the projects I was working on. I told him that the kind of films I am getting is not what I want to do and some releases are stuck. He immediately asked me to work with him. I could not believe my ears at that moment. I asked him again and he said, ‘Yes, of course, take my number’. Within the next four days, I was introduced to his team. I will always be grateful for this. Bollywood bigwigs should support young talents just like Salman Khan did,” the actor says in conclusion.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in significant roles.
