Saif Ali Khan kicks-off Sacred Games 2 shoot in Mumbai

Superstar Saif Ali Khan, who won rave reviews for his outstanding performance in the Netflix India Original Sacred Games, has now started shooting for its second instalment Sacred Games 2, according to reports.

Reportedly, the second instalment of the digital series mounted the shooting floor in Mumbai today. Actor Neeraj Kabi, who was a part of the first season as well, also joined Saif Ali Khan on the first day of the shoot.

“Saif Ali Khan has commenced shooting for the eagerly awaited season 2 of Sacred Games. Joining him was Neeraj Kabi, who plays the corrupted cop Parulkar. The shooting took place in a well-known college of South Mumbai and the set up was that of a police headquarters. Saif went through several costume changes as the troubled tough cop Sartaj Singh,” reveals a well-placed source.

Aside from Saif Ali Khan and Neeraj Kabi, critically acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi is also a part of the series. The series is going to feature many more actors, but the makers are still tight-lipped about the rest of the cast.

Just like the first part, Sacred Games 2 will also have eight episodes. The series is expected to premiere in summer 2019.
