Mulk, starring Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor, to release on 27th July

The makers of the forthcoming Hindi film, Mulk, announced the release date of the movie today. Starring Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles, the film will arrive in cinemas on 27th July 2018.

Helmed by Anubhav Sinha, Mulk is said to be based on true events revolving around a family involved in a controversy. Sinha says that this is the most important film of his career. “MULK Releases July 27, 2018. This is the most important film of my career till date. Keep your love coming,” read his tweet.


Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor also took to Twitter to share the release date of the film. He wrote, “Courtroom drama Mulk will get its theatrical release on the 27th July, 2018. A Benaras Media Works presentation, the film is directed by Anubhav Sinha produced by Deepak Mukut and Anubhav Sinha. It is presented by Kamal Mukut.”

Aside from Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor, Mulk also stars Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Pahwa and Neena Gupta in important roles.

Leona Lewis’s One More Sleep has officially been named the most streamed British Christmas song of the 21st century. The 2013 festive hit, which reached number three on the UK singles chart, has now surpassed 190 million streams in the UK, according to the Official Charts Company.
