Lunchtime luxury: Win a stylish Vaya Tyffyn

THE ‘Tyffyn’ is a beautifully designed lunch box, thoughtfully made using the best design features available on the market.

It comes in two sizes – the 600ml size, which retails for £43, comprises two containers and the 1,000ml version (£54) comes with three containers, each with a separator to keep several food items apart.

One container is a deeper size and all of them fit on top of each other and are placed in the base, so that the vacuum insulated, double-walled, copper-coated, stainless-steel shell can fit over the top.

This feature helps to control the temperature inside, keeping food piping hot or cold for up to six hours. The stainless-steel latches on either side keep everything locked in place to help avoid any messy leaks.

This unique tiffin is designed with thoughtfulness for the user. It comes with a matching Vaya’s Bagmat – a shoulder bag that unzips to become a table mat with a pouch for storing cutlery. This can make lunch times really enjoyable and special by giving a feeling of luxury and indulgence.

Once you’ve enjoyed your lunch, the Tyffyn can be packed away into the Bagmat, which is

specially coated to make it waterproof and stain resistant. The compact size fits into a handbag or briefcase, and buyers can choose from cheetah print, ombre, magical unicorns

and classical white along with other fun designs.

These lunchboxes also have a collapsible handle and the containers are leak resistant with lids that have an ingenious heat protective finger grip. Both the containers and lids are top rack dishwasher safe.

The Tyffyns are also ecofriendly and BPA free, and can be purchased online from Amazon or Vaya’s website at vayalife.com

Diljit Dosanjh wears 130 carat emerald necklace at Met Gala inspired by the lost £20 million Patiala jewel

When Diljit Dosanjh stepped onto the Met Gala red carpet this year, he didn’t just show up in a designer outfit but walked in carrying history. Dressed in an all-white ensemble with a turban, a kirpan and a spectacular necklace layered with emeralds and diamonds, Dosanjh paid tribute to Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala, a name long associated with grandeur and timeless elegance.

The necklace was made in Jaipur by Golecha Jewels, who spent nearly four months crafting the piece. It wasn’t a copy of the original Patiala necklace, which vanished decades ago, but a fresh creation inspired by archival images and Dosanjh’s personality. It featured over 2,500 stones, with the emerald centrepiece weighing close to 130 carats, according to jeweller Manav Golecha.

Fatal fungus threat could expand globally due to climate change, warn researchers

A potentially deadly fungus that spreads rapidly and is resistant to treatment may become more widespread as global temperatures rise, according to new research.

The fungus, Aspergillus, is known to cause infections in humans, animals and plants. It thrives in warmer environments, and scientists now warn that climate change is creating more suitable conditions for its growth. The findings, based on a pre-print study from the University of Manchester, indicate that global warming could accelerate the spread of dangerous strains such as Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus fumigatus.
