KriArj Entertainment's Prernaa Arora announces a new film, Rutbaa

After tasting success with her recent production ventures, Pad Man and Pari, producer Prernaa Arora has planned a number of projects. Her next film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, is already on the shooting floor and now, she has announced a new movie, titled Rutbaa.

To be written and directed by debutante filmmaker Priya Mishra, Rutbaa is inspired from the life of Mishra’s brother Aditya Mishra and his wife, both of whom are serving in the IPS in Uttar Pradesh cadre.


Talking about her new venture, Prernaa Arora says, “We are happy to announce our film Rutbaa. The plot is intriguing and we have full faith in Priya Mishra, as the film is inspired by real-life incidents that she has grown up watching closely. The casting of the film is still in process”.

Besides Rutbaa, Arora is also planning an action entertainer with well-known filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Though the project is yet to be announced officially.
