Katrina replaces Priyanka Chopra in Salman Khan’s next Bharat

After setting the silver screen on fire with their crackling chemistry in Yash Raj Films’ Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan have teamed up yet again for the forthcoming movie, Bharat.

Kat has replaced Priyanka Chopra in the movie as the latter dropped out of it at the last moment, citing some personal commitments. If rumours doing the round across international media are to be believed, PC is set to tie the nuptial knot with her rumoured boyfriend, Nick Jonas, in September and hence she decided to opt out of Salman Khan’s film.

Bharat is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Confirming Katrina’s casting, the director said in a statement, “I am extremely excited to work with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan once again for Bharat. We have had exciting collaborations in the past and it is very interesting to work with the duo once again. It is very delightful to work with the immensely talented actress yet again.”

Ali Abbas Zafar has previously directed Katrina Kaif in movies such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). After Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman is also joining forces with Ali for the third time.

Besides Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Bharat also stars seasoned actress Tabu, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi. The film has already gone on floors.

Bharat releases on Eid, next year.

Robbie Williams voices concern over eyesight decline

Robbie Williams fears his weight-loss injections are damaging his vision, saying his eyesight has grown increasingly blurry in recent months. The 51-year-old, who has been using Mounjaro, believes the jab may be behind the sudden decline and wants others to be aware of possible side effects.

He told The Sun he first noticed something was wrong while watching an American football game, when the players appeared “just shapes on the field”. An optician later prescribed new glasses, but Williams said he hadn’t initially linked the problem to the injections.
