We are talking about Johar’s forthcoming project Good News, which was announced a couple of months ago with much fanfare. The team headed off to Chandigarh to kick-start the first shooting schedule of the movie on Friday, 30th November.

Good News revolves around a married Punjabi couple trying to have a baby. The impressive star cast of the movie includes Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in prominent roles.

The makers commenced the long schedule of the movie with Advani and Dosanjh, while Kapoor Khan and Kumar will join the shoot a little later. Akshay is presently busy promoting his sci-fi action thriller 2.0 and hence, he will begin shooting for Good News after a couple of days.

Kiara, who was recently seen in the Netflix original Lust Stories (2018), shared a boomerang video featuring Diljit Dosanjh and herself holding the clapboard of the movie. Raj Mehta, Diljit Dosanjh and I are missing you Akshay Kumar sir, Kareena Kapoor, Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan see you all soon!"

Produced by Dharma Productions, Good News is helmed by Raj Mehta.
