“I cannot be dressed in couture all the time,” says Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor Khan is making the most of the ongoing lockdown period by spending quality time with husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur.

Weeks before Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the nationwide lockdown in India, the Veere Di Wedding (2018) star had made her Instagram debut. She has been giving a sneak peek into her life in quarantine by sharing a series of unfiltered pictures on her social media.

The actress recently opened up about sharing her candid pictures on Instagram. “I cannot be dressed in couture all the time. And, I do have days when my hair is out of place. The thing is, I want to be as real as possible and be dressed in what makes me comfortable. I cannot sit dressed up all day. It gets to me that people are looking at what I am wearing all the time and scrutinising it. There are times when I just want to chill in a simple set of clothes and feel like myself, keep my hair tied or loose and just let things be,” Kareena told a popular publication.

Last seen in Maddock Films’ Angrezi Medium (2020), Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. The high-profile film reunites the actress with superstar Aamir Khan after a gap of eight years. The two have previously worked together on such hits as 3 Idiots (2009) and Talaash (2012).

Apart from Laal Singh Chaddha, the actress also plays a crucial role in Dharma Productions’ ambitious period drama Takht. To be helmed by Karan Johar, the film also features Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor on its ensemble cast.
