Here’s what John has to say about Satyamev Jayate clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Gold

Nowadays, box-office clashes have become quite common in Bollywood. Almost every second month, we hear about two big films locking horns with each other at the ticket counter. The next clash that’s going to happen is between two much-awaited flicks of 2018 - Satyamev Jayate and Gold.

While T-Series and Emmay Entertainment’s Satyamev Jayate stars John Abraham in lead role, Gold, produced by Excel Entertainment, is headlined by Abraham’s good friend Akshay Kumar. Both films are set to battle it out on August 15, 2018.

However, John does not seem bothered about the upcoming clash. The actor says there are enough screens for two films to survive. “Akshay is a friend. I wish him the best. I think two films can release on the same day and survive. There are enough screens for both the films.”

Satyamev Jayate and Gold both are patriotic films and target the same set of audience. When asked about what made him do the movie, John says, “I choose films depending on the kind of scripts I like. When I made Parmanu, I liked the story, and so I enjoyed the process of making it. I enjoy watching a commercial film which is why I am doing this film.”

After Satyamev Jayate, John will next be seen in RAW and Batla House.
