Govinda's next locks 11th May 2018 for its release

Once at the top of his comic game, Govinda has been going through a lean phase for the past couple of years. The actor had a lot of expectations from his comeback film Aa Gaya Hero but that too bombed at the box office. But if his luck favours him again, things can turn positive for the superstar with the release of his next film Fry Day.

Directed by Dolly Ki Doli fame Abhishek Dogra, Fry Day is scheduled to hit screens on 11th May. Also starring another famed comic actor Varun Sharma along with Digangna Suryavanshi and Prabhleen Sandhu in principal roles, the film is being awaited by all the fans of the legendary actor.

Tweeting about the release date of the movie, noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his handle, "Govinda and Varun Sharma... #FryDay to release on 11 May 2018... Directed by Abhishek Dogra... Produced by Sajid Qureshi..."

Fry Day will face stiff competition from filmmaker Meghna Gulzar's upcoming directorial Raazi. Starring Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, the movie is also coming on 11th May.

So, it will be really interesting to see which of the film wins the box office battle. Hindi film enthusiasts will be wishing that both the movies co-exist and do well at the cash counter.
