Confirmed: Katrina Kaif to romance Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi

After a slew of speculations, the makers of the forthcoming Hindi film Sooryavanshi have finally announced that Katrina Kaif has been signed on to play the female lead in the cop-drama.

In the Rohit Shetty directorial, Kat has been paired alongside superstar Akshay Kumar. The big-ticket film reunites the duo after a massive gap of nine years. They were last seen together in Farah Khan’s 2010 offering, Tees Maar Khan.

Sooryavanshi is being bankrolled by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.

The film is set to enter cinemas on Eid 2020.
