Confirmed: Akshay Kumar to reprise the role of Raju in Hera Pheri 3

Undeniable one of the most awaited sequels of Bollywood, Hera Pheri 3 is set to begin production later this year. While the project was confirmed by producer Firoz Nadiadwala months ago, now Akshay Kumar, who has been an integral part of the franchise, has also confirmed respiring the role of Raju in the third instalment.

Talking to an entertainment website the National Film Award-winning actor said that he is not doing just social drama movies as his next films include comedies like Housefull 4 and Hera Pheri 3.


Apart from Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal have also confirmed reteaming for Hera Pheri 3. Not just Hera Pheri 3, the trio may reunite for the second instalment of their 2002 comic caper Awara Paagal Deewana.

Hera Pheri 3 will mount the shooting floor later this year. “The movie will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year,” revealed a source.

Indra Kumar will helm the third instalment.
