Aamir Khan might produce a film starring Kangana Ranaut

National award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut has time and again said that she has no interest in doing films with the Khan trio of Bollywood if she does not have a character as significant and powerful as her male counterparts in the movie. But what if one of the Khans decides to bankroll a film starring her as the female lead? Well, that doesn't seem to be a problem with the actress, we guess.

According to reports, Kangana is set to collaborate with Aamir Khan on a project which will be financed by the latter. Recently, she met Mr Perfectionist along with producer Kamal Jain to discuss the untitled project and their pictures took no time in inflaming the internet.

When Jain was contacted to get more information on the meeting, he revealed, "The meeting was regarding a collaboration that is in the works. It was a positive meeting. We had a long discussion, and are hopeful that something more fruitful comes of it."

There are whispers in the industry that the project Kangana and Kamal Jain are planning to put together is actually a biopic on Arunima Sinha, a national level volleyball player and the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest.

"The film was originally expected to be backed by Farhan Akhtar but was later acquired by DAR Motion Pictures. Given its compelling storyline, it won't be surprising if Aamir Khan also comes on board as producer," adds a source.
