JAILED Finsbury Park terrorist Darren Osborne had boiling water thrown in his face in what has been described as revenge attack, it was reported on Sunday (13).

Osborne, who is serving life for murdering one and injuring 12 others by driving a van into worshippers outside Finsbury Park Mosque in 2017, had boiling water thrown over him in the high security HMP Walefield.

He was treated for burns and blisters to the face and body.

A source told The Sun that the father-of-four was in agony after the attack.

“The attacker ran into Osborne’s cell and threw the boiling water over his head, face and body. He was in agony,” the source said.

A spokesperson from the Ministry of Justice said: “A prisoner suffered minor injuries after having hot water thrown in his face by a prisoner at HMP Wakefield on 18 September.

“He did not require hospital treatment and the three prisoners involved have been punished.”

The water did not contain sugar, which is known to make burns severe, the spokesperson added.

This attack comes just months after Osborne assaulted a child rapist named Tariq Islam in August.

Osborne, a radicalised Islamophobe, battered child rapist Tariq Islam unconscious while shouting “F***ing Allahu akbar.”

A source told The Sun: “Osborne was raging. If the prison officers hadn’t got to him when they did Islam could have been killed.

“He shouted the place down, yelling ‘F***ing Allahu akbar!’

“There was blood everywhere.”

Islam, 35, was jailed for 13 years after his 10-strong gang groomed a Muslim girl aged 12 and gave her alcohol before raping her.

In February 2018, Osborne was jailed for a minimum of 43 years for ploughing into a crowd of people in Finsbury Park. The attack resulted in the death of Makram Ali, 51.
