The Prime minister and the home secretary have unveiled post-Brexit immigration proposals on Tuesday (2) as the Conservative government seeks to commit to lower and “sustainable” levels of migration after Britain leaves the EU next year. Workers from the EU will need visas to enter Britain, which will be issued based on skills, rather than migrants’ nationality.
