A solo yachtsman, Indian naval officer, Abhilash Tomy trapped in his bunk by a serious back injury thousands of kilometres (miles) from land was rescued on the third day on Monday (24) with the help of French ship Osiris in the southern Indian Ocean, said an Indian navy official said.
