Shraddha Kapoor keen to do a woman-centric film

2019 has turned out to be quite a good year for Shraddha Kapoor. The actress had two back-to-back hit films with Saaho and Chhichhore. While in the former she had not much to do, Shraddha impressed one and all with her performance in the latter. However, now the actress is keen to do a woman-centric film.

The actress in an interview with a daily, recently stated, “I would love to do a female-led film. I am also listening to a couple of films, and there is one that is super interesting but requires a lot of time and preparation. So hopefully that works out.”

Shraddha starred in a woman-centric film titled Haseena Parker, but the film didn’t do well at the box office. She was also going to star in a Saina Nehwal’s biopic but decided to opt-out of it and then Parineeti Chopra replaced her.

While talking about Haseena Parker’s failure, the actress stated, “I feel that Hasina didn’t work at the box office at all, but there is so much in that character and film. Of course, some things were not up to the mark, but I tried my best. When something is successful, it’s obviously spoken about on another scale, but I don’t regret anything in life. I am proud of my choices.”

Shraddha will next be seen on the big screen in Street Dancer 3D in which she will be seen alongside her ABCD 2 co-star Varun Dhawan. The movie will hit the screens on 24th January 2020. The actress also has Baaghi 3 in her kitty which went on the floors a few days ago. The film will release on 6th March 2020. Well, looks like, after a great 2019, Shraddha is all set for back-to-back hits in 2020.
