Priyanka Chopra opens up about Salman Khan's Bharat

Priyanka Chopra is all excited to do a Bollywood film after nearly two years.

Chopra shared her enthusiasm with Esquire and said her upcoming Bollywood movie, which will have her sharing screen space with Salman Khan, is an out and out entertainer.

“I’ve finished up two films: A Kid Like Jake, which comes out in June. And Isn’t it Romantic?, which comes out Valentine’s Day 2019," said Chopra, who became a known name in Hollywood thanks to her portrayal of Alex in Quantico.

"I play a spoiled rich woman who is a yoga guru, which is not a thing. [Bharat] is the Indian movie I signed this year. It’s the quintessential Bollywood movie, which I haven’t done in many years. A lot of them were dramatic and thematic. This one’s going to be out and out entertainment. I’m excited! I haven’t been back to do a movie in two or three years now,” she shared.

Chopra had echoed similar sentiments when Bharat was announced.

“I’m looking forward to working with Salman and Ali after a considerable time. I’ve learnt a lot from them during our previous collaborations and I am excited to see what this one has to offer. I’m also looking forward to working with Atul, Alvira and the entire team. To all my well-wishers who have been patient and supportive, thank you for your constant support and I’ll see you at the movies,” the actress said.

Chopra is currently in the United States of America where she is busy filming Season 3 of Quantico. The actress on Friday took to Twitter to chat with a few of her fans and she revealed she hurt her knee while filming a scene.

"I actually hurt my knee filming this! I had to have a physiologist on set with me and my knee wrapped for the next three weeks. Alex is back, Quantico," Chopra tweeted.
