Madhuri Dixit to pay tribute to many Bollywood divas at Lux Golden Rose Awards

Known for her exquisite beauty and peerless charm, the dhak-dhak girl of Bollywood Madhuri Dixit is gearing up to pay tribute to many popular divas of Hindi cinema at the forthcoming third edition of Lux Golden Rose Awards. The glitzy event is scheduled to take place this Sunday in Mumbai.

Madhuri, who is presently shooting for Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Kalank, a film which was originally offered to late legendary actress Sridevi, will dance on a number of superhit tracks of Hema Malini and Helen. Though many performances are scheduled to happen at the event, Dixit's heartfelt tribute to Bollywood divas is going to be the highlight of Lux Golden Rose Awards.

"When I was approached to do this performance, it left me both overwhelmed and excited. Given that the Awards are supporting the HeforShe movement, I thought it was also time for the women, especially in Bollywood, to celebrate each other and express solidarity with each other,” said Madhuri Dixit, adding, “The Lux legends are truly iconic and inspirational, and my performance is purely to take fans down memory lane while ravelling and celebrating their magic.”

Scheduled to be held on 18th November, the third edition of Lux Golden Rose Awards will be co-hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.
