It’s a wrap for Ayushmann, Bhumi and Yami starrer Bala

Amar Kaushik, who made his directorial debut with last year’s release Stree, is now all set for his next directorial titled Bala. The movie stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in the lead roles, and recently, the team wrapped up the shooting of the film.

Ayushmann took to Twitter to inform his fans that the shooting of the film has been wrapped up. He tweeted, “And it’s a wrap for #Bala. A film which will question the superficial definition of beauty in an entertaining way. Thank you #DineshVijan @amarkaushik @bhumipednekar @yamigautam @nowitsabhi @jaavedjaaferi and the entire cast and crew. This is going to be special. Nov 2019 ??”

Bala went on floors on 6^th May and exactly after two months it has been wrapped up. In the movie, Ayushmann will be seen as a guy who is balding prematurely and how he copes with the situation. This will be for the third time we will get to see Ayushmann with Bhumi on the big screen together. Also, with Yami, this will be Ayushmann’s second film. The two had made their Bollywood debut together in 2012 release Vicky Donor.

While talking about Bala, Ayushmann in an interview with a tabloid had said, "We have made films on various topics and issues, this one is one of the most topical and relatable as men across the country, maybe even the world, are grappling with it. Thankfully, I’m blessed with good hair but many of my friends who are in their early 30s, are complaining of a receding or thinning hairline. So, I’m aware that though we are dealing with the subject in a light-hearted manner, it is a serious issue.”
