HISTORY OF CSK VS RCB

INTRODUCTION

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a foundation cricket group arranged in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. They play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Set up in 2008, the gathering played its home matches at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The gathering was suspended for two-years from the earliest starting point July 2015 for the alleged commitment of their owners in the 2013 IPL betting case, and won the title in its bounce back season. The gathering is captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and trained by Stephen Fleming to play fantasy cricket.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (frequently condensed as RCB) is an establishment cricket crew situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, which plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was established in 2008 by United Spirits and named after the organization’s alcohol image Royal Challenge. Since its commencement, the group has played its home matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

HISTORY OF CSK VS RCB

With 26 matches together in which Chennai 16 and Bangalore won 9 and certain defeats, there is a long history of Chennai super kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Whereas there was no result declared in 1 match. While Chennai scored 208 as its highest score in all the 26 matches, Bangalore scored 205. While Chennai scored 82 as its lowest score, Bangalore scored 70 as its lowest score. So guys, let me take you back to their history.

  1. 2008

It all started in 2008, when Chennai and Bangalore had its first head to head match. RCB won its first match by 14 runs while Chennai won the second match by 13 runs.

  1. 2009

In 2009, they had 3 matches. CSK won 1st match by 92 runs whereas RCB won both the remaining matches by by 6 wickets and 2 wickets respectively

  1. 2010

In 2010, again RCB won first match by 36 runs whereas CSK won second and third match by 5 wickets and 52 runs held in Chennai and durban.

  1. 2011

In 2011, they had 4 matches in IPL 2011 in which RCB won just one match by 8 wickets in Bengaluru. In the remaining 3 matches, Chennai defeated Bangalore by 21 runs, 6 wickets and 58 runs respectively.

  1. 2012

In 2012, they both had 2 matches. In the first match, CSK won by 5 wickets whereas there was no result declared in the second match which was held in Bangalore.

  1. 2013

In 2013, both the teams had 2 matches together in which Chennai super kings won the first match by 4 wickets and 2nd match was won by Royal challengers Bangalore by 24 runs held in Bangalore.

  1. 2014

In 2014, they both again had 2 matches together in which the 1st match was won by RCB by 5 wickets and the match was held in ranchi. Whereas the 2nd match was won by CSK by 8 wickets and the match was held in Bangalore.

  1. 2015

In 2015, RCB had a great fall down as it wasn’t able to win in any match and was defeated by CSK in all the three matches by 27runs, 24 runs and 3 wickets respectively.

  1. 2018

In 2018, again CSK won both the matches by 5 and 6 wickets respectively.

  1. 2019

In 2019, CSK won the 1st match by 7 wickets whereas RCB declared its comeback by defeating CSK by 1 run and this match was held in bangalore.

  1. 2020

In 2020, RCB maintained its repo in 1st match and won by 37 runs whereas in 2nd match CSK made its comeback by defeating RCB by 8 wickets in dubai.

CONCLUSION

With 26 matches and many victories and defeats, CSK and RCB made a long history in the IPL. Though RCB is considered as a weak team, it always tries to give its best shot in every match they play. Both the teams are pretty awesome.
