Elli AvrRam reveals it was difficult to learn Tamil and Kannada for Paris Paris and Butterfly

Elli AvrRam has made a mark in Bollywood with movies like Mickey Virus, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, and others. She is now all set to make her debut down South with movies like Paris Paris (Tamil) and Butterfly (Kannada). Both the films are the remake of Bollywood film Queen and Elli will be seen portraying the character that was played by Lisa Hayden in the Hindi movie.

Recently, when we met Elli, we asked her how difficult it was for her to learn Tamil and Kannada for the movies. To which the actress replied, “Oh my god! It was so difficult; it reminded me of my first Bollywood movie Mickey Virus where I had to remember all my lines. I understood what I was saying but I also did not understand completely. So, it took me back to that. It was quite stressful because I was shooting both the movies simultaneously like first I would go and do a scene in Tamil and then immediately I would go and do the same scene in Kannada.”

“Back-to-back as I was shooting for these two movies, I was hosting The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in Hindi. So, I was flying back and forth nine times. I used to come here talk in Hindi, and then there I used to talk in Tamil and Kannada, and then the same process back-to-back. That time of my life was really hectic, but it was fun for sure. I have dubbed myself in Tamil and Kannada, and in French, and in English with a French accent.”

Paris Paris and Butterfly was supposed to release earlier this year. But the film has been postponed and Elli revealed that Paris Paris had some issues with CBFC, but it has been solved now. Well, we surely can’t wait to watch Elli on the big screen.
