It’s a dream come true for singer Neeti Mohan

On Sunday, T-Series, one of the leading music labels in India, launched the full audio jukebox from the forthcoming period film Padmaavat. It was then that we came to know that popular Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan has also sung a beautiful song in the movie.

Titled Naina Waalo Ne, the song has been composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is also the helmer of the historical movie. Neeti says that to record for a filmmaker like Sanjay Leela Bhansali is no less than a dream come true.


"Nothing less than a dream come true to have recorded for you Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir," Neeti tweeted. She accompanied her tweet with a photograph in which she is seen with the maverick filmmaker Bhansali.

Her sister Mukti Mohan, who is a popular dancer, tweeted, “Naino waale ne' is out from 'Padmaavat'. Sung beautifully by the most gorgeous sister inside out. You deserve the best. So happy for you that you got to sing in Sanjay sir's film. Dreams do come true."

Neeti, who rose to prominence after singing Ishq Wala Love in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. Since then, she has delivered many successful songs in her beautiful voice, including Jiya Re, Nazar Laaye, and Mohabbat Buri Bimari, to name a few.

Prashasti Singh started her stand-up terrified of speaking in public. “I was very conscious of my language, my pronunciation, my accent. I thought stand-up wouldn’t be my thing,” she says. But her first open mic changed that. “It felt like I was among a bunch of sisters, a bunch of friends. I just forgot all my nervousness. It came out very naturally.”
