Haider

After Kaminey, Shahid Kapoor once again collaborated with Vishal Bhardwaj in Haider, an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. Haider is undoubtedly Shahid’s best performance to date. He received numerous awards for his performance in the film.

Rangoon

Vishal Bhardwaj clearly knows how to get the best out of Shahid Kapoor. After Kaminey and Haider, the actor-director duo collaborated for Rangoon. Though the film failed to make a mark at the box office, Shahid once again impressed one and all with his act in the movie.

Udta Punjab

Tommy Singh from Udta Punjab is surely one of the most challenging characters Shahid has portrayed on the big screen. The actor played the role of a singer who is addicted to drugs. Shahid won many awards for his performance in the film.
