Near the Bagbazar Launch Ghat and Bagbazar Kolkata Circular Railway Station, takes place one of the biggest Durga Puja pandal. It is one of the oldest pandal in Kolkata and attracts much attention due to its striking idol of Goddess Durga. There are usually stalls and carnival rides around the pandal for everyone to enjoy.

The pandal in Kumartuli Park is quite young as it was formed in 1995. However, it became quite popular because of the Durga idols which are handcrafted by professional clay modellers. The Ekdalia Evergreen began in 1943 and became known for their exceptional replicas of temples from all over India. this pandal has one of the tallest Durga idols in the Kolkata. Ekdalia Evergreen pandal is situated in Gariahat, South Kolkata.
