Work on Ajay Devgn starrer Chanakya is in progress

Currently, India is under lockdown and of course shootings of the film have been stalled. But well, work on Ajay Devgn starrer Chanakya is in the process reveals director Neeraj Pandey.

While talking to a tabloid, Neeraj said that the discussions about the film are going on over the phone or email. He said, “It is a work in progress. We are having discussion on anything and everything. The various heads of departments, including VFX, concept, costume, art, production design, and location, are regularly in touch. There are many things that we have to discuss about, including how the script will be approached.”


The movie is scheduled to go on the floors in October this year. Well, it is still time for the film to start rolling, but looking at the current scenario, the shooting schedule might get postponed. While talking about it, Pandey said, "Let's see how things pan out in the near future and then we will see. All I can say is that the script is locked.”

Meanwhile, Pandey is currently busy garnering praises for his web series, Special OPS.

Well, apart from Chanakya, Ajay Devgn has films like Bhuj: The Pride of India, Maidaan, RRR, Kaithi remake, Golmaal 5, and Thank God in his kitty. He will also be seen in an extended cameo in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The movie was supposed to release on 24th March 2020 but has postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The US jobs market received an unexpected lift in May as businesses hired thousands of extra workers ahead of the FIFA World Cup, helping the economy comfortably outperform forecasts despite rising costs linked to the ongoing energy shock.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the US economy created 172,000 jobs during the month, significantly above economists' expectations of 105,000. The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.3 per cent.
