Teaser of Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani 2 will surely give you goosebumps

Rani Mukerji is all set to be back on the big screen this December with the sequel to 2014 release Mardaani titled Mardaani 2. The makers have released a teaser of the film to make an announcement about the release date of the movie. This teaser will be attached with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War which will release on 2nd Oct 2019.

Mardaani 2 is produced by Yash Raj Films, and the production house posted the teaser on the official Twitter handle. They tweeted, “This Navratri, good will triumph over evil. Mark the date. #Mardaani2onDecember13 #RaniMukerji #GopiPuthran @Mardaani2.”


Well, the teaser is simply fantastic and it will surely give you goosebumps especially the last scene where Rani’s character Shivani Shivaji Roy is hitting someone with a belt. The actress is mind-blowing in the teaser and it looks like an award-winning performance from her.

We loved the dialogue in the teaser, ‘Ab tu kisi ladki ko haath laga ke toh dikha, tujhe itna maroongi ke tere twacha se teri umar ka pata nahi chalega’. It’s quite powerful! Even the background music in the teaser leaves a mark.

Mardaani was about child tracking and Rani had earlier stated that in Mardaani 2 they will tackle a very shocking subject. The actress had stated, “In Mardaani 2, we will again tackle a subject that will be shocking; it will show something very real, very alarming to audiences and make them aware of what’s happening in and around our lives.”

During the announcement of the film, Rani had revealed that the script of the film is extraordinary. She had said, “Mardaani is and will always be extremely close to my heart. Right since its release, everyone has asked me time and again when I would be doing Mardaani 2 and I'm sure this announcement will come as a pleasant surprise to them all. Gopi has written an extraordinary script that we all love.”

Directed by Gopi Puthran, Mardaani 2 is slated to release on 13th December 2019.
