Taapsee Pannu’s journey of becoming a sprinter in Rashmi Rocket wasn’t an easy one

Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing the role of a sprinter in Rashmi Rocket. The actress started shooting for the film last month and has been sharing pictures from the sets and her workout sessions.


To portray the character of an athlete the actress had to undergo a physical transformation and it wasn’t an easy task. Today, Taapsee posted a video in which she has shown her journey of becoming a sprinter for the movie.

The actress captioned a video as, ““Coz ordinary people are meant to do extra ordinary things “ ख़ुदी को कर बुलंद इतना कि हर तक़दीर से पहले ख़ुदा बंदे से ख़ुद पूछे बता तेरी रज़ा क्या है Here it is.... caption mein aur kuch likhne ko bacha nahi hai sab video mein bol diya ? #RashmiRocket.”

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, Rashmi Rocket also stars Priyanshu Painyuli and Abhishek Banerjee. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya.

Apart from Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee Pannu has many other interesting films lined-up. She will be seen in Haseen Dillruba, Jana Gana Mana (Tamil), and Looop Lapeta.

There were reports that she will be teaming up with Anurag Kashyap for a horror film. However, the movie is not yet officially announced. A few weeks ago, there were also reports that she might star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s next.

US president Donald Trump sparked fresh controversy on Thursday by resharing a racist post from American commentator Michael Savage that called India, China and other nations "hellholes."
The Ministry of External Affairs responded with minimal comment.

"We've seen some reports. That's where I'll leave it," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said during a weekly briefing on Thursday evening. He offered no further reaction to the post Trump shared with millions of followers.

The incident comes as India and the United States continue trade negotiations. Jaiswal confirmed an Indian team travelled to Washington DC for talks, describing discussions as "ongoing and constructive."
