Ram Charan dubs in his own voice for the Hindi teaser of RRR

Murtuza Iqbal

SS Rajamouli’s RRR is one of the most awaited films of 2021. The movie stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Recently, the makers had unveiled a teaser of the film in which they had introduced the character of Bheem played by Jr NTR.

In the teaser, it’s Ram Charan’s character Ramaraju’s voiceover that introduces us to Bheem. While of course the voiceover in the Telugu version was done by Ram Charan, he also did the voiceover for the Hindi teaser as well.

This is for the first time Ram Charan has dubbed in Hindi. In 2013, when he had made his Hindi debut with the multi-lingual film Zanjeer, the actor’s dubbing was done by dubbing artist Viraj Adhav. Now, it will be interesting to see if in the film also Ram Charan will dub in his own voice for the Hindi version or a dubbing artist will be used.

RRR is being made in Telugu but will be dubbed in different languages including Hindi. Well, after the Baahubali franchise, SS Rajamouli has become a pan-India filmmaker and everyone has high expectations from RRR. The teaser which was released yesterday was undoubtedly a visual treat.

While Ram Charan and Jr NTR are shooting for the film, Alia Bhatt will join the team in November.

Due to the pandemic, the shooting of the film was stalled, but it was resumed a few days ago. While talking about the shoot, a source had told a tabloid, “The team will be shooting for almost two months straight at the studio and the crew will be quarantined together. The two leads, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, who play real-life freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, will be shooting off and on. There will be plenty of drama, dance, romance, and of course, confrontation between the two heroes.”
