Preity Zinta in Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3?

Preity Zinta and Salman Khan have starred together in movies like Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Jaan-E-Mann, Heroes and Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa. Their jodi is loved by the audiences and looks like we will get to see them on the big screen again soon.

Well, on Instagram, Preity Zinta posted a picture with Salman Khan aka Chulbul Pandey and captioned it as, “This Halloween I met someone special in U.P? बोलो कौन ? Socho aur bolo?#HappyHalloween #police #surprise #dabangg3 #ting.”

While Salman is seen in his Chulbul Pandey avatar, Preity is also seen wearing a t-shirt written Police on it. Well, this makes us wonder if the actress has a cameo in Dabangg 3. This also reminds us that Salman had done a cameo in Preity’s production venture Ishkq in Paris. Both the actors share a great rapport with each other and we are sure that fans of Salman and Preity would be quite excited to see them on the big screen together again.

Preity was last seen on the big screen in Bhaiji Superhit which was a disaster at the box office. She now has a slice-of-life film in her kitty which will be produced by Ashutosh Gowariker. The actress will also be seen as a guest star in ABC’s show Fresh Off The Boat which might lead to a spin-off of the show titled Magic Motor Inn.

Talking about Dabangg 3, the movie also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Saiee Manjrekar, Kichcha Sudeep and Arbaaz Khan. Warina Hussain, who made her debut with Salman Khan’s production venture Loveyatri, will be seen in a song in the film. Directed by Prabhudeva, Dabangg 3 is slated to release on 20th December 2019.

Communal tables are back – and Gen Z is leading the way

Highlights:

  • Communal dining tables are becoming popular again, especially among Gen Z.
  • Surveys show younger diners enjoy meeting strangers, while many older diners prefer privacy.
  • Shared tables help tackle loneliness and encourage real-life conversation in a digital age.
  • Restaurants are adapting with supper clubs, shared platters and “come alone” nights.
  • The trend reflects a wider shift toward connection, experience and affordable social dining.

Walk into a place to eat and there is just one huge table. Everyone there is a stranger, talking, laughing, passing bowls around like they already know each other. For some older diners, the setup feels odd. It can come across as too open, almost like someone stepping into your personal space. But younger diners see it differently. For Gen Z, that setup is the fun part, the chance that the person next to you might turn into a friend, or at least a good conversation.

A 2025 Resy survey shows a clear generational split: 90% of Gen Z enjoy communal tables, compared with 60% of Baby Boomers. Beyond numbers, the social benefits are real; making friends, striking up conversations, even finding a date. For a generation often described as “the loneliest,” dining together offers a rare sense of connection.
