Nadiya Hussain to host BBC's new cookery series

CELEBRITY chef Nadiya Hussain is set to host a new cookery series on BBC, it was confirmed last week.

Hussain, 36, will present Nadiya’s Fast Flavours which will see the star share her favourite recipes with viewers.

The Great British Bake Off winner said she was “so excited” for the show to begin.

“I’m going to be bringing a whole host of new everyday recipes to the table, that are easily achievable but fizzing with flavour,” she said.

“This new series is packed full of dishes that will enlighten and entertain, proof that you don’t need a special occasion to try out bold, exciting flavours that will taste great and make you feel amazing,” she added.

The broadcaster said Fast Flavours recipes include custard French toast with pistachio crumb, Bombay mix burgers, lemon and basil shortbread and coffee glazed focaccia.

A book to coincide with the series will be released in the autumn. A date for the show is yet to be confirmed.
