After impressing us with a couple of posters, the makers of Saif Ali Khan starrer Laal Kaptaan have dropped the first trailer of the film. It looks like the trailer has been divided into different parts and the first part is named as The Hunt.
It introduces us to the character of Saif Ali Khan with the actor mouthing a powerful dialogue. Saif plays the role of a Naga Sadhu in the film and his look in the film is perfect. Not even for a second, we feel that we are watching Saif. There’s also a female voice in the trailer and the voice is of none other than Sonakshi Sinha.
Aanand L Rai, the producer of the film, took to Twitter to share the trailer. He tweeted, “From ashes to ashes, from dust to dust - no hiding from #LaalKaptaan's vengeance, in this we trust. The deadly HUNT has begun! Be a part of his journey. #HuntBegins18Oct @ErosNow #SaifAliKhan @cypplOfficial @Nopisingh @zyhssn @deepakdobriyal #ManavVij.”
Well, the first trailer is quite good and one thing that impresses us a lot in this trailer is the music, it is awesome. Now we wait for other parts of the trailer.
Sonakshi has a cameo in the film, and while talking about the actress’ character, director Navdeep Singh stated, “It’s a special appearance but a pivotal one. I wanted somebody who would leave an impression, someone with star quality and appeal. Sonakshi fits the bill perfectly. I’ll leave her part as a mystery. All I’ll say is she’s the most glamorous thing in the film.”
Apart from Saif and Sonakshi, Laal Kaptaan also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Zoya Hussain and Manav Vij. It will hit the screens on 18th October 2019.
