After Slow Motion and Chashni, the makers of Bharat have now released the third song from the film titled Aithey Aa. The song is composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani and sung by Akasa Singh, Neeti Mohan, and Kamaal Khan. It’s a strictly average track when it comes to the music and the voices behind it. It sounds too contemporary for a song to be set in 1983.
However, it is Katrina Kaif who saves the track with her desi girl avatar and thumkas. We have seen Katrina in many films showing off her dance moves, but here it is different as she dons a perfect desi avatar. Salman Khan too manages to leave a mark, but it is Katrina who steals the show.
Vaibhavi Merchant’s choreography is good, but we clearly expected more. It is an Ali Abbas Zafar film, starring Salman Khan and a wedding song, so it will be compared to Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai from Sultan and that’s where Aithey Aa falters.
Bharat also stars Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Sonali Kulkarni, Jackie Shroff, and Nora Fatehi. It will be hitting the screens on 5th June 2019.
