Karisma Kapoor planning to make her big screen comeback?

Karisma Kapoor was last seen on the big screen in 2018 release Zero. She had a cameo in it. The actress, who ruled the box office in the 90s, was last seen on the big screen in a full-fledged role in 2012 release Dangerous Ishhq. The film tanked at the box office and Karisma made a distance from the big screen.

The actress makes her presence felt with the multiple advertisements that she does. She is also set for a digital debut with Alt Balaji’s Mentalhood. The web series will showcase different types of mothers and how they manage their kids. But now according to a report in a daily, the actress is planning to make her big screen comeback. A source told the daily, “Karisma has enough friends in the industry, but she was not open to doing full-fledged roles as she wanted to focus on her kids. While she was shooting for Mentalhood, she was back networking within the business. She has been offered a few film projects, which she is now considering.”


Well, if this report turns out to be true, we are sure Karisma’s fans would be quite excited to see her on the big screen.

Karisma started her career at a very early age with the film Prem Qaidi. In the 90s she starred in many successful films like Anari, Raja Babu, Coolie No 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Raja Hindustani, Judwaa, Hero. No 1, Dil To Pagal Hai, Biwi No. 1 and others. With her performance in films like Dil To Pagal Hai, Fiza, Zubeidaa, and Shakti, Karisma also proved her mettle as an actress.

The actress was seen on the small screen recently a couple of times as the judge of Dance India Dance. The official judge of the show is Kareena Kapoor Khan, but if the actress can’t make it for the episode, sister Karisma fills in for her.

Union claims ‘brazen retaliation’

Rockstar Games is facing allegations of union busting after reportedly dismissing dozens of staff believed to have been involved in a private workplace-organising chat. According to a Bloomberg report, between 30 and 40 employees across the UK and Canada were let go on 30 October, all linked to a Discord group used to discuss union issues.

The Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) union said some of those affected were members, while others were attempting to organise. In a post on Bluesky, IWGB called the move “the most ruthless act of union busting in the history of the UK games industry”, saying it would fight for the workers to be reinstated.
