Kangana Ranaut shares pictures from the sets of Thalaivi, praises director AL Vijay

Kangana Ranaut has many interesting films in her kitty and one of them is Thalaivi, a biopic on late politician Jayalalithaa. Before the lockdown was announced, the actress was busy shooting for the film, and recently after seven months, she resumed the shoot of the film.

The actress took to Instagram to share a few pictures from the sets of the movie and praised her director AL Vijay. She posted, “These are some stills from yesterday’s early morning scene discussion with my absolutely talented and most affectionate director A.L Vijay ji, there are many amazing places in this world but the most soothing and comforting to me is a film set #thalaivi.”


A few days ago, while she was heading to South India to shoot for the film, the actress had posted on Instagram, “Dear friends today is a very special day, resuming work after 7 months, travelling to southern India for my most ambitious bilingual project #thalaivi, need your blessings in these testing times of a pandemic. P.S just clicked these morning selfies hope you all like them ❤️”

Thalaivi is an ambitious project for Kangana. The movie was slated to release on 26th June 2020, however, due to the pandemic that didn’t happen. The makers have not yet officially announced the new release date of the movie.

Apart from Thalaivi, Kangana has films like Dhaakad and Tajes in her kitty. The latter will start rolling in December this year. The actress is also set for her directorial Aparajita Ayodhya.

Passengers travelling through Heathrow Airport are being warned of disruption after flooding from a leaking pipe blocked road access to Terminals 2 and 3.

The flooding in Heathrow's central terminal area means passengers cannot currently travel to or from the two terminals by road. The airport is advising people to use rail and Tube services instead while repairs continue.
