Birthday Special: Top 5 songs of Urmila Matondkar

Urmila Matondkar is one of the most talented actresses we have in the industry. She has given some fantastic performances in films like Rangeela, Judaai, Khoobsurat, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Bhoot, Ek Hasina Thi, Pinjar, and others.

But well, apart from being known for her amazing performances, Urmila is also famous for her amazing dance moves. Today, as she celebrates her 46th birthday, let’s look at the top five songs of the actress.

Rangeela Re

The first one on the list has to be the song Rangeela Re from the movie Rangeela. The song was one of the highlights of this Ram Gopal Varma directorial. We are sure all the 90s kids did the hook step of the track at least once.

Chamma Chamma

Chamma Chamma from the film China Gate was a fantastic dance number and Urmila nailed it in it. Her thumkas in the song surely stole our hearts. The song was recreated last year by Elli AvrRam, but she failed to recreate the magic of Urmila.

Sabki Baaraten Aayeen

One of the most underrated songs of Urmila Matondkar is Sabki Baaraten Aayeen from the film Jaanam Samjha Karo. The track is a perfect amalgamation of dance and emotions, and the actress has done it so well.

Kambakht Ishq

Urmila Matondkar gave one of her career’s best performances in the film Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. But apart from her act, what grabbed everyone’s attention in the film was the song Kambakht Ishq. The track was a rage when the film released and it is still liked by music lovers.

Aa Hi Jaiye

In 2001, Urmila featured in a song in the film Lajja. Titled Aa Hi Jaiye, the song had the actress at her glamorous best and of course, she once again impressed us with her killer dance moves in the song.

Dwayne Johnson has never looked or sounded like this before. In The Smashing Machine, the former wrestler turned Hollywood star completely ditches his polished persona to play Mark Kerr, a troubled UFC legend whose battles outside the ring were as intense as the ones inside.

The upcoming film, which drops in cinemas on 3 October, is directed by Benny Safdie, half of the filmmaking duo behind Uncut Gems. This marks his first solo directorial project, and he’s diving deep into the rough, real-life story of Kerr, a powerhouse from the early days of MMA who found fame in the late ’90s but also struggled with addiction and personal chaos.
