Bhangra Paa Le trailer: Finally a movie that celebrates an Indian dance form

We don’t have many dance-based films made in Bollywood and when filmmakers decide to explore the genre, the dance forms that are showcased in the films are hip-hop, contemporary, etc. However, we hardly get to see any Indian dance form being showcased on the big screen. But finally, here’s a film that celebrates an Indian dance form, Bhangra.

We are talking about the movie Bhangra Paa Le which stars Sunny Kaushal, Rukshar Dhillon, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. Sunny took to Twitter to share the trailer. He tweeted, “Yeh भंगड़ा hai janaab! India te इंडिया waalon di shaan hai! ?? Presenting the official trailer of #BhangraPaaLe: https://bit.ly/BhangraPaaLeTrailer @RuksharDhillon @ShriyaP @SnehaTaurani @RonnieScrewvala @RSVPMovies @ipritamofficial @jam8studio @tipsofficial @MusicByRR.”

Well, the trailer is damn impressive and looks like we will get to see some amazing Bhangra dance numbers. Also, there’s the recreated version of the song Bhangra Paa Le from Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan starrer Karan Arjun. The few lines of the song take us on a nostalgia trip.

Sunny Kaushal impressed us with his performance in last year’s release Gold, and now, we surely look forward to watching him in Bhangra Paa Le. Debutante Rukshar Dhillon looks confident and Shriya Pilgaonkar with her small appearance leaves a mark. Sunny and Rukhshar have also danced wonderfully in the film.

Directed by Sneha Taurani and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Bhangra Paa Le is slated to release on 1st November 2019. It will be clashing with Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer Bypass Road.

Instagram removes DM encryption from today: What users should do to stay safe

Highlights

  • Instagram switches off end-to-end encryption just before federal deepfake law enforcement begins.
  • Meta can now read private messages it previously could not access.
  • Privacy experts warn against storing downloaded chats in Google Drive or iCloud.
Instagram is removing a privacy feature from May 8 that previously stopped the company from accessing the content of users’ direct messages.
The change comes just days before a new US federal law requires platforms to scan and remove harmful content.
The change affects users who turned on Instagram's end-to-end encryption option for direct messages.
Most Instagram users never switched on this feature, according to digital privacy expert Harry Maugans. For the small number who did, the protection ends on May 8.

End-to-end encryption works like a sealed envelope. The platform can see who sent a message and who received it, but cannot open it to read what is inside.

When Instagram removes this feature, it effectively removes the privacy layer that kept messages hidden. As a result, Meta would be able to access the content of those messages.
