India’s Mindtree named as UK market leader in SAP HANA, Leonardo services

INDIAN multinational IT company Mindtree has been recognised as a leading provider of SAP HANA and SAP Leonardo products and services in the UK by the Information Services Group (ISG).

ISG is a US-based international technology research and advisory firm.

Bengaluru-based Mindtree received the highest ranking of ‘Leader’ across all four quadrants in the ‘ISG Provider Lens UK 2019 Report’, Mindtree said in a statement on Monday (19).

The annual ISG provider lens study is a comprehensive and objective analysis and evaluation of service providers.

The report covers the global SAP HANA and Leonardo market, and examines products and services available in the US, Germany, the UK, Brazil, and the Nordic countries.

“Mindtree is credited for its partnership-based approach, experience-based industry accelerators, and expertise in serving the UK customers, as evidenced by a 400 per cent British client growth in the last year,” the Indian company said.

The company’s overall key strengths cited by ISG include next-gen SAP cloud platform services, industry-focused solutions, and a strong partner ecosystem.

Jan Erik Aase, director and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research, said: “Mindtree is a SAP Gold partner, and is considered a market leader in the UK.

“The majority of Mindtree’s certified SAP professionals and implementations are in the UK, and it has more contracts in the UK than any other service provider. Mindtree has the strength and scale to deliver SAP consulting and implementation services in the UK, and its use of accelerators to provide quick turnaround is commendable.”

The ISG report comes on the heels of the launch of Mindtree’s latest industry accelerator, QuikDeploy, an IP-driven approach to help customers maximise their use of the SAP solution manager.

UK weighs new ‘invite-only’ investor visa for wealthy foreigners after scrapping golden route

  • The UK is reportedly considering a new investor residency visa with a minimum £5m investment requirement.
  • The proposed route could focus on sectors such as AI, clean energy and advanced technology.
  • Wealthy Indians and global business families may closely watch the scheme if it moves ahead.

The UK government is reportedly exploring a new “invite-only” residency visa aimed at attracting ultra-wealthy investors, signalling a possible return of investor migration routes four years after Britain scrapped its controversial golden visa programme over money laundering concerns.

According to reports, the proposed UK investor visa scheme would allow selected high-net-worth individuals investing at least £5m into key sectors of the British economy to secure residency rights for an initial three-year period, with a possible route to permanent settlement later.
