Vicky Kaushal: I sometimes get sleep paralysis

Vicky Kaushal will next be seen on the big screen in Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. The trailer of the film was released a few days ago, and it has received a good response.

Recently, during a media interaction, when Vicky Kaushal was asked if he has faced any paranormal activity, the actor said, “I sometimes get sleep paralysis. It happens when you are very tired and when you sleep, your brain is awake but your body is not awake. So, you feel that there’s someone sitting on you and you can’t move your body. So, till the time I didn’t know the reason behind it (sleep paralysis), I used to feel that there’s some ghost sitting on me. It happens only for 10-15 seconds but it is a very scary experience. Once it happened I hallucinated or probably it happened, but I saw a shadow passing. But apart from that, I haven’t faced anything.”

The makers of Bhoot had announced the film as a franchise. So, when Vicky was asked if he would star in Bhoot Part Two as well, the actor said, "It depends on certain factors. Part two will be made if part one will earn money. It also depends on how much the audience likes me in part one and then the makers will decide whether to keep me or not."

The makers have stated that Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is the first of its kind horror film made in Bollywood. So, of course, the expectations from the film are quite high.

Directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, the movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar and it will hit the screens on 21st February 2020.
