Reportedly, Salman Khan was supposedly to play the role of a father to a teenager in Remo D’Souza’s upcoming dance film.
Salman Khan had confirmed about his role in this untitled project, however, as per the reports, the actor chose to not consider the dance film , due to his film Tubelight failing to create any impact at the box office.
Previously, there were news surfacing about Salman recommending Varun Dhawan’ s name for the film instead, thereby considering Remo for Race 3.
If reports are to believed, Remo D’Souza is all set to take Varun Dhawan on board instead of Salman Khan for his untitled dance film.
A source said to a leading entertainment portal, “Varun happily agreed when Remo approached the Badlapur actor. They have collaborated very successfully on Any Body Can Dance. After the socially relevant October with Shoojit Sircar, another dance film seems just the thing Varun needs to do. This film has nothing to do with the ABCD franchise. Remo designed it for Salman. But Salman was reluctant from the start and had even recommended Varun for the role .”
On being asked about the news about Salman being the initial cast for the dance film, Remo said, “Let me first finish Race 3.”
Varun Dhawan had starred earlier in Remo D’Souza’s film ABCD 2. Currently, Remo is busy with his forthcoming release Race 3.The film stars Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem.
Well, though the official announcement on the cast of the untitled dance film is still in the waiting, wonder whether or not Varun Dhawan replacing Salman Khan will make the film even more worth entertaining.
