As Judwaa 2 emerged victorious in Box Office, Varun Dhawan who is glad with its successful innings, said that he is not a part of the rat race and that his only objective is to entertain people. Ever since his debut in Student of the Year, all his films have stroked gold in the box office, however, Varun Dhawan said that he doesn’t want to outdo anybody in the film industry.

The 30 year old actor said, “After Judwaa 2, trade feels your are a bit ahead in the race right now… There is no race. There is Race 3 which Remo D’Souza is directing with Salman Khan while will be very cool but there is no race between any of us. If there is a race, then what is the finish line? How is there ever a finish line?”

On Twitter, Varun posted, “As artistes, we are just working towards entertaining people and making good films and hopefully, we will get to make a career. I feel amazing about being able to do that and provide for my family and my loved ones. But I am not working so I can be better than someone.”

Judwaa 2 featured Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. Varun Dhawan played double role for the first time in the film. The actor will be next featured in October along with the debutante Banita Sandhu, a model from Wales (UK). The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar which is set to release on June 1, 2018.
