Featuring Gracy Singh and Ratan Rajput in leading roles, the popular &TV show, Santoshi Maa, is going off air, according to reports.
Produced by well-known producer Rashmi Sharma under her production banner Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, the show went on air on 30th November 2015 and attracted a huge audience because of its novel concept and endearing performances by everyone.
Within no time, the show became one of the top rated shows on the channel. But lately, it has failed to bring in required viewership and hence the channel has decided to pull the plug on it.
Call it a coincidence or a well-thought plan, Santoshi Maa is the third show on &TV which is being pulled down within a gap of a few months. The channel had just axed two of its shows Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi and Chupke Chupke before ringing the curtains down on Santoshi Maa.
If reports are to be believed, the slot which is currently occupied by Santoshi Maa will be allotted to a new show, titled Siddhivinayak. The show stars Nitin Goswami and Neha Saxena in principal roles.
