On every Eid from the past few years, there’s a Salman Khan film that hits the screens. This year released Bharat and next year on Eid, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah will hit the screens. But the twist here was that Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi directed by Rohit Shetty was also slated to release on Eid 2020. However, the clash has been averted.

Salman Khan took to Twitter to announce the new release date of Sooryavanshi. Along with a picture of himself and Rohit Shetty, Salman tweeted, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.”

Well, Sooryavanshi and Inshallah clash would have clearly affected the box office collection of both the films. Sooryavanshi stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead and the actress was confident that the clash won’t happen. She had earlier said, “Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. He will always be supportive of me in the workplace. So, I don’t think he will let his film clash with Sooryavanshi.”

While Akshay Kumar is teaming up for the first time with Rohit Shetty, Salman Khan will be back with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after a gap of more than a decade. It will also be for the first time when we will get to see Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt on the big screen together, and on the other hand, Akki is teaming up with Katrina after a decade. We are sure fans of Akshay are Katrina are excited to see them on the big screen again.

Talking about teaming up with Alia, Salman had told an entertainment portal, “Of course, Alia and I will really look good together. It is a lovely love story, it has got all hearts, it is fun, it is set in today’s times.”

Alia while talking about pairing up with Salman had earlier said, “Bhansali is a visionary. People are too quick to judge. There is a plan in place and a reason behind the [unusual] casting. I am thrilled to be working with Salman. Even I never thought this combination [working with Khan and Bhansali] is possible. It will be an intriguing journey and Salman is genuinely warm and kind. They are a magical duo together and I am blessed to be in it.”
