Dulquer Salmaan, the heartthrob from the South film industry, celebrates his 33rd birthday today. After making a mark down South, Dulquer made his Bollywood debut last year with the film Karwaan, and he will next be seen on the big screen in The Zoya Factor opposite Sonam Kapoor.

The actress took to Instagram to share a new still from the film The Zoya Factor and wished her co-star. She posted, “Many many happy returns of the day @dqsalmaan! They say the number 28 represents leadership, self-determination and independence! Guess lady luck has always been generous to you! Hope you have a great year ahead!”

Well, Sonam and Dulquer are looking adorable together in this still. The movie is based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel The Zoya Factor. It revolves around a girl named Zoya who becomes a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Dulquer plays the role of a cricketer in the movie.

The Zoya Factor was slated to release in June this year, but it has been postponed to 20th September 2019. A few months ago, while talking about her character, Sonam had said, “A lot of girls tend to be like, ‘Listen, if I am such a mess, how am I ever going to succeed in life?’ But I want to say, it’s okay to be a mess. I think that’s what I said through Mili in Khoobsurat and that’s what I liked about Zoya as well. I like to play girls who are regular and normal, who have regular problems because all of us have them.”

Sonam was last seen on the big screen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga in which she played the role of a girl who is a homosexual. Though the film failed to make a mark at the box office, Sonam’s performance in the film was appreciated a lot.
