Sanju has proved once again that only content sells at the box-office. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial, which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Sanjay Dutt, has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of Hindi cinema within 9 days of its theatrical release. The movie, which closed out its first week at an impressive ₹ 202.51 crore, crossing the lifetime collection of Hirani’s previous blockbuster 3 Idiots (2009), pulled in ₹ 12.50 crore on the first day of its second week i.e Friday.
