Salman Khan receives death threats, shooting of Race 3 halted

A few days ago, when Salman Khan was in Jodhpur to appear in the court for his black buck case he had received death threats from Jodhpur based gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Currently, Salman Khan is shooting for his upcoming Race 3 in Mumbai. As he was shooting for the film on Tuesday (January 9, 2018), 3 goons from Jodhpur entered the film’s shooting premises and threatened to kill Salman Khan. Mumbai Police have given additional security to the actor. They have instructed Salman Khan to not disclose his locations and keep all his social media activities a low key. They have also asked him to not ride a cycle in public.

Speaking about the incident, a source told to a leading Indian tabloid, “The police arrived at the Race 3 set in Film City and told Salman and producer Ramesh Taurani that the shoot had to be stopped immediately as the actor needed to head home as soon as possible. Salman was escorted in another car by six cops, while his own car was driven back to his residence by another group of cops.”

Race 3 producer Ramesh Taurani was asked about the same, to which he said, “There are additional bouncers, guards and personnel to safeguard Salman and the unit at all times.”

Meanwhile, Race 3 also stars Jacqueline Fernadez. Besides Race 3, Salman Khan will also be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial Bharat which is scheduled to release on Eid next year. Moreover, he will be featured in Dabangg 3 which is also slated to release next year.
