Salman Khan’s last release Race 3 didn’t do well at the box office and was even panned by critics. But with Bharat the tables have turned. Audiences, as well as critics, have liked the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial and movie too is doing quite well at the box office. Recently, during a media interaction, Salman spoke about the film’s success.

The actor said, “I am very happy with the film doing really well and everyone’s work is being appreciated. The success of every film is very important. Bharat is a film that we have given our lives for, like every other film.”

When he was asked that not just the audience, but even critics have liked the film, Salman said, “I get scared. That why did they give (those star ratings) because their thinking never matches with the audience. Then I wonder ‘oh what if this doesn’t do well’. But the reason I do the kind of movies I do because I loved the scripts.”

“My validation comes from the box office collections that the people have liked or not liked a film. It doesn’t make a difference if someone (a critic) has given it so many stars (ratings) or ridiculed the film. It’s their bread and butter. God bless them, give them two more (slices of) bread,” the actor added.

Salman wants people to enjoy his movies. He said, “I want people to come inside the theatre and forget about their life. Enjoy the film. Take away the heroism or leave the theatre becoming a good person. These are the things I follow while doing a film.”

Recently, Salman took to Twitter to thank all the journalists who interviewed him during Bharat. He tweeted, “To all the journalists who have interviewed me during #Bharat … a big thank u to all…”

Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi, Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni and Jackie Shroff.
