Salman Khan to launch a talent management firm

According to reports in a leading Indian daily, Salman Khan is planning to launch a talent management firm. Salman Khan has helped a lot of people to get work in the film industry. Speaking about his agency, he said to a leading Indian daily, “Hiring new talent is necessary. There are so many people who come to the city and still don’t get a chance to work in films. Sometimes, even if they do land a film, they aren’t noticed enough. The idea is to create a talent pool and give everyone a fair chance to make it big in this world.”

His brother-in-law Aayush Sharma is gearing up to make his Bollywood debut and the talent management firm will soon start their hunt for a leading lady for the film. A source said, “Salman plans to launch a female lead opposite Aayush for his debut venture, Loveratri. In order to get the work started, he has introduced an audition section on his app, BeingInTouch, where people can send videos showcasing their talents.”

On the professional front, Salman Khan was last seen in his latest release Tiger Zinda Hai alongside Katrina Kaif. The movie is a sequel to 2012 blockbuster hit Ek Tha Tiger. He will  be next featured in Race 3 opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial Bharat.

In a recent interview with a leading Indian daily, Salman Khan mentioned that fans get emotional when they see him on screen as they identify him as an action star. He said, “Whenever my fans watch my movie, they want to have a great time. With Tubelight, they were shocked. They were crying, hurt and disturbed, as they couldn’t digest the fact that someone was beating their Bhai, and that I was crying. So, even though they watched it in theatres, they didn’t go back again. The film lacked the repeat value that Sultan (2016) or Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) had.”
