After the super success of Baaghi and Baaghi 2, the makers of the franchise are all geared up for the third installment of the film. The movie will have Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles and now, according to a report in an entertainment portal, Riteish Deshmukh has joined the cast of the film.

While Riteish has worked with Shraddha Kapoor in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain, it will be for the first time when he will be collaborating with Tiger Shroff. A source said, “While Tiger and Shraddha know the drill for Baaghi 3, Riteish is new to the franchise. The makers were really keen on having him in an action film. While we all know about the comic timing of Riteish, rarely have we seen him in a full-fledged action-revenge drama. His association with this kind of genre will be unique and one will see him in a very different avatar.”

While the source didn’t give out many details about Riteish’s character, we wonder if the actor will be seen as a villain in the film. Riteish was last seen on the big screen in Total Dhamaal and his next release will be Marjaavaan in which he plays the antagonist. In the Milap Zaveri directorial, Riteish will be seen as a dwarf.

Coming to Baaghi 3, Tiger and Shraddha were a part of the first installment, then Disha Patani was roped in for the second part and now, Shraddha is back in the franchise.

While talking about the film, Tiger had recently stated, “It’s definitely a pressure that we have to scale up every time. Not many people have been a part of a franchise so early on in their career, so the pressure was bigger because I had just stepped in the industry and my second project turned out to be a franchise film, and since then, I had to take that forward.”

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 3 is slated to release in March next year.
